Umar Mir
Co-Founder
Umar is a Co-Founder of Union Software Group.
He also serves as the Chief of Staff at AutoLeap where he has been instrumental in building various teams and departments such as customer experience, marketing services, and the content engine as well as contributing to various special projects to help drive growth at the business. During his time at AutoLeap, the company has grown from 40 to 200 employees and has raised more than $50 million from investors.
Before joining AutoLeap, Umar was a Private Equity investment professional at Onex Partners and an M&A investment banker at RBC Capital Markets prior to that.
Umar holds a Bachelors from the University of Toronto.
Umar starts every morning with a glass of fresh orange juice and on weekends he relives his glory days of playing basketball which usually just ends up in back pain nowadays.
